Delayed Period, Constipation, Diarrhea And Frequent Urination Can Be Pregnancy Symptoms?

Am I pregnant? Im 9 days late coming on my.period, day of due period I bled once and not single drop of blood have been seen. Also since due day of period I have had constant constipation and diarrhea. I can also feel something in my lower abdomen on the right hand side. Feels like a golf ball. More toilet trips for a wee. Ive took a test and results was negative.

Hallow Dear,

Yes, if you have missed your period for 9 days, you should consider the possibility of pregnancy. When did you perform pregnancy tests? These tests done too early may report false negative results. Now that your period is 9 days over due, you may repeat the test on overnight early morning first urine sample to get reliable results. Alternatively, you may opt for Beta hCG test which is very sensitive and detects the pregnancy even few days before missing a period.

Even if you are pregnant, just after 9 days of missed period, the uterus is not yet grown sufficient to be felt from the abdomen. The uterus can be felt abdominally, that too with expert hands, only after 12-14 weeks of pregnancy. If you feel some golf-ball sized growth in the right side of the abdomen, please get examined from your surgeon for appropriate diagnosis and management.

If the pregnancy tests reveal that you are not pregnant, you may take Tab. Deviry for 5 days; within 4-7 days after that you should get withdrawal bleeding.

I hope this helps you.
