Dark Face, Uneven Skin Tone Due To Sun Burn. Natural Remedies To Cure ?

Hi, I recently went to the beach 2 days ago and when I was at the beach I started to realize that when I went to the water my face started to burn , not only that but I realized after I got home I forgot to put sunscreen on. I have been outside in Miami beach without no sunscreen on and now my face is darker and my skin tone is uneven. I basically want to know how can I become light again and clear up my sun spots? Also what natural remedies can I put on my face to lighten back my face.

Hello,

Thanks for posting your query.

Aloe vera is one of the best home remedies to cure sunburns. Squeeze the broken piece of leaf to get all the juices or gently slice it down one side to gain easier access

Use tea tree oil diluted with olive or virgin coconut oil to treat a sunburn and prevent peeling.

Wet compresses and cool baths to help alleviate the burning.

At the very minimum, drink the recommended eight, 8 oz. glasses of water, as a sunburn causes your skin to lose moisture.

Avoid using heavy creams, butters and petroleum jelly products on sunburned skin. These products can trap the heat the skin is trying to release. This can actually cause the burn to go deeper in the skin and cause more damage.

Regards.

hello

thanks for posting your query.

our skin colour is something that we have got for keeps. we can try to lighten the colour but it wont be permenant, whenever you have important functions or meetings to attend, there are procedures that can be done to make our skin look fresh and glowing, also if your skin has got darker over the years , we can try to lighten the effect of sun exposure on your skin.

first of all, the most important thing to prevent darkening of skin is to prevent constant sun exposure by using a sunscreen of SPF more than 50 if possible. this has to be applied on all exposed parts half an hour before going out to sun and reapplied every 4 hours.

a daily regimen of cleansing your face thrice a day, moisturizing and using sun screen is very effective. there are creams like ban a tan which are available which have to be applied at night. they contain kojic acid and arbutine. this helps in skin colour lightening.

there are methods like glycolic acid chemical peels which help in getting rid of the pigmentation, also microdermabrasion or photofacials will help you in getting a glow to your face and will also help with pigmentation.

i suggest you visit a dermatologist who can chart out a plan for you according to the facilities he provides.

since you have been to the beach just 2 days ago , wait atleast for a week to start the kin lightening treatment.
