Cramps In Right Side Side, Numbness. Advise?

Hello Doctor,
Hi, I am 25 year old, female. Recently I have been suffering from sudden cramps on the right side of my head. I am getting these cramps in my right arm as well when I sleep on the right hand side for a long time. I feel that the cramp is affecting my right side completely. I don't have any pain but there is a numbness for almost 15 to 20 minutes when I get these cramps. I am not sure if this a serious problem or everybody gets it. Please advise if there is anything I can do to get rid of these cramps.

Hi
Based on your symptoms it appears that you are suffering from cramps followed by numbness ,you need to be evaluated by neurologist /family physicianYou require clinical evaluation and some blood test such as serum calcium, electrolytes, Magnesium, and thyroid profile to know the exact cause. It is not a serious problem .It can be treated based on reports.
Have calcium rich foods (milk, curd,), juices ( for potassium supplements) and plenty of fluids .
