Could There Be Any Negative Side Effects Of Stopping Taking Medicines?
Hi, Does Ridgvidon have any different side effects to microgynon? I have experienced dry skin and some weight gain Also, I have even thinking about stopping taking the pill altogether, not to conceive but to return to a more natural state and possibly lose some weight. Could there be any negative side effects of stopping taking it (apart from the obvious risk of pregnancy?) Jeanette

Discontinuing birth control pills is not expected to cause many adverse effects other than the risk of pregnancy. Some women may experience irregular cycles for a few months following discontinuation of contraceptive pills. But menstrual cycles will regularize eventually.
