Dear Doctor, I have Google d this for days and I m at my wit s end. My son of 10 months has a strange problem. A couple of days ago he looked like he a tiny cut right on the nose by the nostril opening at the base of that flesh that separates the two nostrils where the nose meets the rest of the face. If you touch your nose with two fingers touching the flesh that separates the nostrils and then you feel that point where that flesh meets the rest of the face that is where I mean. Problem: His cut or wound at the opening is seems to be widening and i am getting very very very worried. It doesn t ooze blood - there is just the colorless bodily fluid that normally forms a scab. What do you recommend and is this normal at all??? Concerned parent.
