Could The Itchy, Red Circle Underneath The Armpit Be A Ringworm?

Hi I have a red circle under my armpit it has gone down in colour but has been there nearly two weeks. It does itch at times but hadn't got any bigger. I thought it could be ringworm however I'm not too sure if there common underneath the armpit or not. Thanks

Hello Thanks for writing here.Ringworms affect moist areas of body such as groin axilla etc.Other possibility is herald patch of pitryasis roscea. It is a viral infection. Both conditions are different and need different treatment. In my opinion you can wait for some period and if rash does not disappear it will be better to consult a dermatologist.Take care.
