Could The Green Colored Bowel Be Due To Food Or The Thyroid Problem In A 6 Month Old?
Hi, my son is 6+ months old... We started feeding him Cerelac Stage-1 (wheat & Apple) 20 days back. Since then we are observing him having green color motion once a day or once in two days. sometimes he used to pass yellow color motion. My son is under thyroid treatment, regularly he was being given 25 mcq of thyronorm tablet in the morning.
Is this a cause of worry at this moment? do we need to go for any kind of tests to confirm any infection details?
Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. This is not related to thyroid treatment. Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting...you need not worry. No need to do any tests. If above symptoms develop...consult a paediatrician.
Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health. Dr. Sumanth MBBS., DCH., DNB (Paed).,
