Could Spaced Out Feeling Be Caused Due To Intake Of Prozac And Valacyclovir?

hello there Im taking two medications. one called prozac and the other valacyclovir, i take them at the same time as recommended by my doctor. I missed two doses of each medication and i took the medication today in the morning and i have had this spacing out feeling the whole entire day. i took the medication at 11 a.m and the spacing out hasn t gotten any better. I know anti depressant shouldn t be missed or stopped but i don t know weather to sleep it off or go to e.r. suggestions? - clueless

Prozac frequently causes changes in mentation. These are quite variable. Valciclovir has very little influence on it. Having them go up and down in amount will make the mental effects of the antidepressants more variable.
Serious side effects on antidepressants can be with too much serotonin (with facial flushing, diarrhea, mental fuzziness) this is serious for about a day while the medicine gets out. Slight mental changes are quite common and are generally NOT anything serious.
Cannot say in your particular case without being there.
