General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Nausea, vomiting, irregular spotting, fatigue, flu like symptoms can occur as withdrawal symptoms after stopping the Depo shot. These symptoms may exist 11 to 14 weeks after stopping the drug. By this time the hormone starts wearing off from the body. You have mentioned nausea and vomiting after one year stopping one shot of Depo. Your symptoms are unlikely to be caused by Depo.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
