Could Mild Cramps, Back Pain And Bleeding After Undergoing Iui Be Periods?

Hi ,, I don't speak English very good ... I did the first iui on 6/2/2014 .. I had mild cramping all the time .. Yesterday really strong back pain .. Today the same ,, and now brown bleeding .,, not to much . Is this period ? I will do a blood test February 22 th ... Sorry again for my English .... Thanks a lot.

Hi, Thanks for the query. Your English is absolutely fine.

The reasons for this may be pregnancy or menses. The chances that this is menstruation are higher considering your symptoms. Another reason may be implantation bleeding that occurs at around the time of next menses.

There is very little that we can do now as it is too early to detect pregnancy by urine test. However a blood test can be done and if there is a pregnancy it will give positive results. In that case if pregnancy test is positive it indicates that this may be an abortion and you will need drugs to stop it.

If test is negative, indicates that this is most likely your period.
