Could Dent On Skull Be Connected To Attention Disorder?

i m a fourteen-year-old female. I have a crappy memory, can t think straight, and i can t concentrate or pay attention. My doctor wants to put me on a medicine for ADHD, but i haven t started it yet.I just started paying attention to a dent in the front of my skull. i don t think it s from my plates, because it goes down my forehead, not just the skull. It s about the size of a pencil being halfway ingraned into my skull. I looked it up to see if the two things were connected, and sure enough, doctors websites said that the lesion was located on the frontal lobe, which controls memory, mood and some attention. My mom said I ve hit my head pretty badly before, when i was a child. I vauguely remember first noticing the dent in about 5th or 6th grade. What do i do? Should I ask for an MRI? Is it likely that these two things are related?
