Could Abnormal Pap Smear Test Be A Result Of Having Taken Plan B Prior To It?

I took a plan B the night before having a papsmear. I also suspect i had a vaginal infection during the time (not sure if it was bacterial or yeast). I got abnormal results back. Could any of these things caused an abnormal result? Im very worried it could be something alot more serious :(

Hello ma'am and welcome.

What was the indication for the pap smear and what did the results report? These are 2 very important questions without which it is difficult to comment on the cause. As for the ipill, no ma'am this could not have interfered with the results. Please either write back to us with that informstion or speak to your doctor about what he/she is suspecting.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
