Could A Deviated Septum Be The Reason For Constant Water In The Eyes?
My 2 year olds eyes constantly water, to the point of flowing out of her eyes. The ophtamologist has already ruled out clogged tear ducts. My husband had suggested that it could be a deviated septum, which he had an issue with when he was younger. Is this a possiblility and something we should look into with our doctor?
Hello It seems from the history that your 2 year old is having constant watering in the eyes. Deviated nasal septum can obstruct the flow of tears from the eyes and can cause watering. Since eye examination done by an ophthalmologist is normal you can consult your ENT doctor for examination to rule out this as a cause for watering in the eyes.
Thank you
