Could A Delayed Period After Unprotected Intercourse Be Due To A Pregnancy?

this month of may i had my period normally,and then i had unprotected sex and i took the day after pill..once again i had my period.in this same month of may...and i had again unprotected sex and i took the pill again.but i havent gotten my period. does this mean im pregnant??

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Delayed period could be due to the pregnancy or due to side effect of pill.
Bleeding before the period is breakthrough bleeding due to progesterone withdrawal effect.
Pregnancy chance is 1-5 % as I pill has 95 % effective in preventing the pregnancy.
I pill also cause delay in period by 8-10 days as it contain high progesterone and prolong the second pahse of the cycle.
So if period will delay by the 12-14 days then go for urine pregnancy test and or blood HCG to confirm the pregnancy.
If intrauterine pregnancy will be there then it can be terminated by the abortion pill under the advise of gynecologist.
