Constant burping all the time, bloating, no pain, stomach or intestinal problems ?

Hi, I started burping non-stop. No matter what I eat I would burp all day. Usually starts after first meal (breakfast) and especially at night when I m done with work and standing up/walking. I feel bloated sometimes too. No pain anywhere, just constant annoying burps. (except when going to sleep ). Should I get my intestines/ stomach checked? Or is this something else?

Hi Jenny, Welcome to HCM.

Burping is a very natural process. However, when in excess, it just means thats these is definitely some problem. This can either be due to consumption of gas forming foods, untimely eating and excessive eating, regurgitation due to some issue with the Gastro intestinal tract, of there might also be an issue with the absorption of the foods. Avoid consuming strong flavoured foods, alcohol, aerated drinks etc. Drink plain milk if it irrites a lot and drink plenty of water. However, a small issue can lead to big situations. So i suggest you to visit a doctor before the situation gets worse. Hope you get rid of the burps soon!!!
Good luck!!!
