Consistent Draining Of Clear Fluid From Ear Causing Crystallization, Huge Flakes In Outer Ear, Severe Itching. Remedy?

Why do both my ears constantly drain clear fluid which will crystallize and build up in my outer ear , producing huge flakes? My ears itch intensely deep inside. This has been going on for over a year and both ears have been professionally suctioned by the local ENT many times to the tune of $100 per ear each time. I have also used every type of ear drop prescription known to man. I keep water out of my ears. Nothing stops the drainage.

HI I read your mail and as you said your both ears are continuously draining out clear fluid with intens itching deeply,you have not told about your hearing weather it is normal or diminished are you having recurrent cold and nasal discharge because these things are very important in making diagnosis,anyway you may be having allergic otitis externa,chronic otitis media secondary to recurrent respiratory tract infection.to confirm this first of all physical examination of ear,nose & throat is must which will revail the findings of your ear canal,is there any congestion, ulceration,polyp,codition of ear drum is there any perforation etc.you are also adviced to go for C.T.Scan of Ear,C.T.Scan of paranasal sinuses,cytological & biochemical examination of draining watery fluid,lastly culture & sensitivity of discharging fluid.by working out in above way we can reach the correct diagnosis only than definitive treatment can be planed.Thanks.
