Hello Doctors I had a grommet inserted in left Ear for almost 1.5 year. Till now it was not dropped out by itself. Suddenly before 2 days I had a severe itching. After 2 days I checked the inside ear with the help of phone video recording where I came to know that there is yellow fluid with surroundings white at that spot. I feel some minute pain at some times when I try to chew hardly. I am suffering from sinus. And moreover as grommet is present in the ear.....are the chances are more or less to heal the ear. Will there be further complications. Can I atleast try fight back with that problem even though it not quickly healed.
Get an ENT consultation to check for infections. You may need antibiotics to treat it so a proper visual examination is needed. Do pranayam, it is helpful in the healing process. Medicines show better effects with this course. OMBW is one you can join too.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
