Child Passes Stool Frequently In A Day. Is It Normal?

I have a 2 year old daughter. She passes stool 4 times a day, sometimes even 5 times in a day. Is it normal for a kid to pass stool so many times in a day? (there are no symptom of loose motion). She watches cartoon shows while eating meals. Otherwise, she does not eat. We are trying to give her all sort of cereals, chappati, fruits and vegetables. Any suggestion to make her eat without T.V.

Hi.

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

A child watching TV and eating is a normal thing seen now a days in every house hold. It has become so common that we forget that it is abnormal.

We should stop this practice.
Such a practice cannot be stopped simply just like that by saying to the kid stop it or by switching off the TV.

This should be done by showing a example.
The whole family should sit together and eat. If we are watching cricket or TV serial and eating we cannot teach a child that its wrong to watch TV and eat.
Please provide a example to the child. The children will learn what they see.

Regarding the stool.... Is there any blood or mucus in the stool? Is this associated with fever or pain abdomen?
Please reply in detail.
