Child Having Sweaty Palms, Itchiness Over Body, Continuous Sick Feeling. Had Taken Treatment Of Kawasaki Disease Earlier. Worrisome?
Hi my 5 year old daughter constantly complains about feeling sick, I have also recently noticed her with sweaty palms, she also lately has been complaining about being itchy all over which I just put down to dry skin from winter although I m not so sure now. She had Kawasaki disease 18 months ago and was treated in time with immunoglobulin Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated or I just may be worried for nothing. Melissa B
I can understand your concern. You mention that your daughter complains of feeling sick. What actually does she feel? Does she have fever or any other specific complaint?
Sweaty plams can be due to fever or some nervousness which she is not able to express to you.
You attribute the itchy feeling to dry skin due to winter. Have you applied any hydrating cream and/or oil and observed if the itchiness disappears? In case it persists then it shall be advisable to consult your doctor or a dermatologist.
I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.
