Child Having Fever, Vomiting, Irregular Heart Beat. Taken Antibiotics For Viral Fever. Fever Refraining. Consult Doctor?
My six year old boy had a fever for two days with the fever between 101 and 104.3 with no other symptoms two weeks ago. we went to the Dr who said it was viral and had ran its course. The fever started again today and has went as high as 104.6. He also has vomited twice. He feels like his pulse is racing. His Dr reported last visit that he has a slightly irregular heart rate. Should I take him to the ER. It is 10PM here.

In my opinion this is not a case of E R but consult a cardiologist and get his opinion and treatment .
Till give paracetamol according to the fever severity .
Cold or ice sponging will provide relief.
