Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Haziness on X-ray is due to lung infection which is known as pneumonia.

It is caused by a virus or bacteria in children in most of the times.

Continue the medication as advised by the Pediatrician for the child problems.

Look for any danger signs like increasing respiratory rate, bluish discoloration of hand and feet, respiratory distress and if you find any abnormality consult your doctor as early as possible.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.

Are there any chest retractions?

Were any other investigations done on your child like blood counts etc?

Was a CRP test done?
