Child Has Fever, Cough With Phlegm. Given Calpol

Hi my daughter 6 year old is suffering from fever from morning upto 104 degrees. Have given her cal pol 250 mg 5 ml solution 2 times with a 4 hour gap. She is also suffering from mild cough with phlegm sound although coughing is not continuous. Please suggest what should be done to control this high fever if cal pol doesn t work?

good morning, the safest and easiest way to reduce a high grade temperature is to sponge the childs body from head to toe with warm water for nerly 5 to 10 min , 5 to 6 times a day. this is called tepid sponging. other medicines include syp meftal-p around 6.5 ml for ur daughters age. but its always better to get her examined by a doctor and then administer the medications, thank you.
