Hi,

Thank you for your query.

There are a couple of recommendations for your daughter:
1. Do not use tramcinolone cream. It is a steroid which is preventing the control of the infection.
2. Get a culture of any discharge done to know the bacterial infection, if any.
3. If it is a fungal infection, get the skin scraping examined to confirm it. Nystatin must have controlled it.
4. Get a urine routine and culture done. Your daughter may be crying for the burning in her urine due to an infection. This test shall also be a screening test for diabetes.
5. In case infection is recurring then you need to rule out diabetes.
6. Maintain proper hygiene. Avoid use of diapers. Leave the area to dry.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your daughter an early recovery.
