Can Worsening Swelling In Tonsils Cause Problems During Pregnancy ?

Hi! I am 22 weeks pregnant and my tonsils are really swollen and I got tonsil stones from them. I also have colds even before pregnancy due to rhinitis and it seems that it just got worse and worse now. i'm afraid it might affect my unborn child. please help me. thanks!

Tonsillitis in pregnancy can be treated by gargles daily preferably betadine,if no relief and difficulty in swallowing you might need antibiotics.
