Can On And Off Sharp Pain In Ovary Indicate Presence Of Cyst?

I have had sharp pain in my right ovary for about a week. It is very brief and comes and goes. It started off once a day and now is several times and hour. I had a cyst once when pregnant and it feels similar to that. Could it be the same thing? do I need to call my gyn?

Hi

You are having pain in the right lower region.
Now although you had an ovarian cyst earlier and you are attributing the pain to the cyst .
But the kind of pain that you are having can also occur in other conditions like appendicitis and intestinal infections.
I would advise you to see a gynecologist soon since finding out the cause of such a pain should be done at the earliest.
