Hi

Smokers may have shorter and irregular cycles than non smoking women.Anemia which is deficiency of iron can cause heavy bleeding which could be the cause based on your history.

You need to be supplemented with oral or parenteral iron based on your body weight.Monitoring of RBC,Hemoglobin and reticulocyte count should be done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
