Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain Inside The Head

Hi, I have a very difficult issue here that is so mysterious that we have spent chunks of money and time. My husband is 61 of years of age and he has been suffering from this incredible pain all over the inside of his head. He was a surfer and very athletic and has no diabetes, no major health issues he has suffered all his life. He has sever contractions inside his head and that pressure goes down to his spine and rises and makes him very weak and painful. He took ECG etc. sort of medical tests about 25 years ago in USA and all claimed that he is perfectly in a normal condition and I believe so because he is a healthy man. Somehow, since his 20s, he has become an insomniac. He hardly sleeps. It has come to such an extent that he does not what sleep is. He is very intelligent and knows his body. He sometimes says that he does not what it feels like to be in a physical body anymore. He consulted several ayurvedic practioners in US and India. One certified US ayurvedic practioner says that his Vata dosha condition is severe and that it is hard to decipher how to help him. My husband is a vegetarian from past 25 years and eats a very healthy food. Doesn’t eat any junk at all and no alcohol. Because of the severe contraction and pressure, it gets spread all over his body and makes him restless. Because of the pressure, his perineum is pulled apart and creates pain in his groin. He has hernia that he got about 12 years ago that come and goes. When the pressure & contraction hits his body (which is every single minute of his life), the hernia starts pulling apart and severe pain is experienced. He smokes beedies (5-6 a day) because it does not contain as much nicotine as the cigarettes. He is 6 feet 2 inches and an excellent swimmer. He doesn’t enjoy anything anymore in life. His lineage of family never had any major health issues at all. They are all very healthy. His mother had a difficult labour when she gave birth to him, I am not sure if this information would help. He hasn’t had physical relationship in 11 years due to such a severe condition in his body. I humbly request you to please give me more details on this issue. If anything could ever be done at all. He likes to have physical intimacy and would enjoy life if this condition didn’t exist in his life. All his family members have lived more than 80-90 years of age. Please help.

Hi,

In my opinion, the case history of your husband suggests only a diagnosis of depression/bipolar disorder apart from the hernia, you have referred. In my opinion you are advised to consult some surgeon regarding his hernia. But it is of utmost important, that you consult some psychiatrist regarding your other complaints.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
