Can Multiple Myomas Cause For Localised Pelviectasis?

Hi, my limited abdominal ultrasound says that my right kidney measures 10.0*4.5*4.2 cm and demonstrates mild localized pelviectasis near the upper pole. No caluculi are seen. What does it mean ? I have multiple myomas in uterus. Can it be the reason ? Thank you.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The pelvic ultrasound reveals a normal sized right kidney.
The pelvis of right kidney is dilated and is localized towards the upper pole.
Dilatation of pelvis is commonly associated with obstruction and most common cause of obstruction is renal stones.
However, no stone is detected in the kidney or urinary tract.
The dilated pelvis can be a structural anomaly.
Multiple myomas are benign tumors arising from uterine musculature.
Multiple myomas will cause any change or deformity of right kidney.

Thanks and take care
