Is it likely that eyedrops that I am using since a lasik treatment can cause my sense of smell to change or disappear? My sense of smell has been in a steady state of bad smell for 3-4 months now. It is like the smell of a moulded carpet is hanging in my nose all day long. It is worsening in the evenings. I have been using Hylogel for 9 months now, but I suspected them to be the source of my smelling problems, so I swapped to Systane 2 weeks ago, but no improvement so far when it comes to the smell sense. I am using cetirizin daily because of allergy to dust and pollen.
