Hi, I'm trying to find the best way to go about having my hormone levels tested. For about six years I've been experiencing a compilation of symptoms - depression, anxiety (symptoms that I sought care for from a counselor, psychologist, and psychiatrist, was put on antidepressants but I am confident that is only treating the symptoms, not the root of the symptoms), extreme emotions, extreme mood swings, fatigue, constant inflammation of my sinuses, the list goes on. I want to get tested for hormonal imbalances because I truly feel that is a main part of what is going on. Also, I am wondering if an imbalance is linked to something greater going on and would like to be tested for endometriosis to either rule that out or to see that's the main cause - the more I read about it, the more it sounds very similar to a large list of symptoms. What is the best way to go about seeking medical advice for this, because office visits are costly and I would like to do the most I can in the least amount of visits and tests possible to get to the root of it. Do you have any suggestions?
