Can High Cholesterol Be Reduced With Exercising And Diet In 2 Months?

My Doc is giving me 6 weeks to get in shape (exercise and diet) to get my cholesterol down -
but now I am worried that I could be hurting myself - Total cholesterol is: 266, Triglycerides: 194, HDL is 51, LDL is 176 - Risk Factor is: 1.32. Do you think I help change this in 6 weeks? I am 62 years old - 170 lbs...5" 7' tall. Thank you so much

Atleast you can try to reduce cholesterol by following a strict diet and exercise regime for 6 weeks and see if it works....even if there is a small positive change in your lipid levels, it will be enough to motivate you to eat healthier and stay active in future to bring down your cholesterol levels to a normal range. So why not give it a try.
