Can Hepatitis C Cause Warm Feeling And Red Cheeks?

i have recently been diagnosed with hepatitis c. I have noticed lately my cheeks get red and i kind of get a warm feeling on my face. I am 23 yrs old and most likely contracted the virus in the last year. Are these symptoms possibly related to the virus and should i be overly worried?

Hi there,

Its unlikely that hepatitis C would cause liver failure that quickly. I wouldn't be overly worried. I'd make sure you have your liver enzymes checked regularly (every 6 months). You should also make sure you get a liver ultrasound, and an alphafetoprotein (AFP) level, every 6 months as you are at increased risk for liver cancer.

I hope this answers your questions. Please feel free to contact me should you have any further questions.
