hi,
All calcium channel blockers incluidng felodipin can cause chest pain though it is rare. The mechanism is unclear, but a steal phenomenon where blood is shunted away from heart is one hypothesis. It may also produce gastritis, which can produce chest pain.
You should consult your doctor, get an EKG and then have a change over of prescription if the pain is bothersome.
Hope this helped.
