Can Erectile Dysfunction And Kidney Disease Be Due To Narcotic Abuse?

My dad has many different health issues. We re trying to find out if there s a connection to narcotics abuse: Erectile dysfunction His thyroid is off Sleep apnea He aspirated He slurs- we told her this last year Catheter port (bladder retention) Vomits in his sleep Depression Kidney disease Labored breathing

Welcome to HCM!!!!

Yes his kidney disease and Erectile dysfunction could be due to narcotic abuse. But i see there is a bigger issue which is his thyroid dysfunction which can explain everything that you have mentioned. I suggest you to treat his thyroid and i can tell you with sufficient amount of confidence that all the problems will resolve eventually but he should be off narcotics also for complete recovery.
