Can Cervical Spinal Stenosis Cause Numbness Of Hands?

I was recently diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis when I complained of numbness in my hands. I have also passed out several times in the past few months. It was diagnosed as a vagal reaction. Could these two symptoms both be caused by the spinal stenosis?
