Hi Doctor, How good is this sperm count to conceive? Colour: Greyish White, Volume: 4.5 ml, Consistency: Watery, PH: 7.5, Sperm Concentration: 4 - 5 SPERMS/HPF, Total Sperm Count in Ejaculate: 4 - 5 SPERMS/HPF, Class a (P3) Rapid progressive motility: Occasionally seen/HPF Class b: (P2) Slow /Sluggish progression : 2 - 3 SPERMS/HPF Class d (P0) Immotile : 2-3 SPERMS/HPF Viability Test : 2--3 SPERMS/HPF Regards, Indu

Hello

Your findings suggests very low sperm count and very low motility of sperms.
Normally sperm motility should be at least 55 %.

Sperm count is also very low.Normally it should be at least 20 millions/ml.

Besides proper clinical examination,you may need investigations like routine hemogram,random blood sugar,ultrasound of scrotum.

It is important to exclude any surgical reasons for low sperm motility and low count.Ultrasound and clinical examination is helpful.
Hormone assay can be done if needed.

Take nutritious diet and antioxidants.
If low motility and sperm count is low then you may need assisted fertilization techniques.

Other findings like semen volume,pH etc are normal.
