Hi,
I am a 26 year old, relatively healthy female. Currently, the only medications I take on a daily basis are Aviane for birth control, and Sertraline for anxiety.
I have had a cold for the past week, and stayed home all day today. By this evening, I noticed my buttcrack was sore and a little itchy. I went to the bathroom to look at it, and it is very red and angry looking. It is not on my butt cheecks or vagina. I took a shower and washed it throughly. I wonder if it is a heat rash from being sick and sweating, or maybe something else?
This is my third cold in the past six months, but the first time I have experienced this. When I was sick in the beggining of March, I got an antibiotic to treat a sinus infection, which resulted in a yeast infection. I then got a prescription to treat that, and it successfully went away with the first treatment.
I tried a new shampoo and conditioner 3 days ago, but then switched back to my regular. Other than that, I cannot think of anything else in my daily life that has been different.
Yesterday I did forget to take my Sertraline for the first time, so maybe its a physical side effect of withdrawal? I don't think that is it, but this is all of my info I can think of that is relavent.
