Can Permethrin Cream Be Used Daily For Scabies Treatment?
Hi doctor..i think i have scabies...i have the tinu bumps and scratch marks on my knees and stomach area..i use tetmosol soap twice day to bath and permethrin cream.can i use the cream daily.and if i do how long will it take to heal completely?im 26

Welcome to HCM. I am Dr. Charu Bansal. I understand your concern.
If it is confirmed scabies, i usually advise my patients to apply permethrin 5% cream overnight application from neck to toe weekly for 2 weeks.
Alongwith in few, oral ivermectol is advised.
Daily permethrin is not advisable.
