I took Nordette as an Emergency Contraceptive one week ago. I took 4 pills with 24 hours after and another set of 4 pills after. Now, One week after that incident, I had unprotected. Is the chance that I may get pregnant high? Can I take Nordette again? Thank you.

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

There is chances of pregnancy so I would suggest that if you miss your periods do a urine pregnancy test, but the chances are less 10 to 20 percent. Yes, you can use nordette but with caution.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
