Can Nasonex (mometazone) For Sinusitis Cause Pain In Submandibular Lymph Node And How To Get Relief?

Hi I am fighting sinus related problems for last 7 weeks, i am having pain in sub-mandibular lymph node since yesterday. i had similar pain few weeks ago when i got allergic reaction to antibiotics. My ENT has started me on nasonex for last 3-4 days, could the pain in submandibular lymph node be because of the reaction to nasonex? my lower teeth on that side feel little painful as well, i had dental checkup a month ago, there is no issue with my teeth. what could be the reason for the pain in the lymph node and how do i alleviate it?

hello
welcome to HCM
pain in your submandibular lymphnode is because of infection in your lower teeth indicating possibility of abscess formation. so for that you should get your IOPA/OPG xray done which will indicate the proper diagnosis and get treated by dentist.
for infection we usually prescribe our patients with good antibiotic and a painkiller which will help you to subside your pain and infection.
thank you
