Hello,

Thank you for asking at HCM.

I went through your history and would like to make suggestions for you as follows:

1. Lansoprazole is used for treatment of gastritis or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Asthma may be worsened by GERD, so I would suggest you to continue lansoprazole.

2. If you have asthma symptoms despite lansoprazole and inhaler, I would suggest you to consult your doctor who may increase/change your inhaler medications.

3. If you have nose/sinus symptoms also, I would suggest you regular steam inhalation and levocetirizine + montelukast which will help and also improve asthma control.

4. Please have adequate warm fluids during day to avoid dehydration and help liquify mucous.

Hope above suggestions will be helpful to you.

Should you have any further query, please feel free to ask at HCM.

Wish you the best of the health ahead.

Thank you & Regards.
