Can I Take Dayquil Along With Budesonide?

Can I take Dayquil (that has phenylephrine HCL) with Budesonide nasal spray? I am having tiny rashes on my right arm and am not sure if it s connected to this. I also took fexofenadine (180 mg) on Wednesday and Thursday. The rashes appeared Thursday morning and spread to my upper arm Thursday night.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Budesonide and Phenylephrine Hydrochloride oral both increase adrenaline effects, which affect blood pressure and heart rate. So if you're suffering from hypertension may aggravate this problem keep monitoring. Rashes may be not due to above drugs, unless if you're allergic to it. Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
