Can Hydroxyzine Pamoate 25 Mg Tablet Cause Dilation Of Pupils?

I am taking hydroxyzine pamoate 25 mg cap for a scratching/rash situation. I have read that in higher doses it is used to treat depression and act as a sedative as well. I have experienced a couple of episodes of extreme dilation of the eyes.....incredible bright light for may be 15 minutes. I checked my other meds and this the only difference as far as I can figure. Can this be a side effect of this drug....I didn t see it on the warnings. Charlie o

this is not side effect,but effect. this can happen .you have to stop the drug after consultation. use dark glass and avoid bright light for some time if drug is in-dis pensible
