Can Clomid Help Restore Fertilization For A 23-year-old?
hello doctor,iam 23 year old.diagonosed pcos.trying to conceive for one year.last month i tried clomid and hcg shot and found ovulated but didnt conceive.this month doctor put me on clomid and parlodel...can i conceive with it?my husbands sperm test is normal

PCOD is a problem with ovarian failure. This is mostly due to hormonal imbalance caused by hormones from ovaries, thyroid or pituitary body. Increased prolactin hormone can also hamper ovulation.
Clomid & Hcgshot helps in stimulating ovulation. Parlodel is a specific drug to treat hyper prolactemia.
Both the drugs should help in ovulation & unprotected sex within 36 hrs before &after ovulationwould help conception.
Normally a hormonal estimation test is performed to identify exact cause followed by specific medicinal supliments &timely sex for good results.
So you can try with given combination this month. But if needed, discuss the thing with your fertility specialist for more specific treatment.
