Can Cholestoff Cause High Sugar Levels?
Hi, I was recently diagnosed with high cholesterol and started taking slimvastin. I took it for about 3 months and it did seem to work but caused too many side effects. I was then switched to Crestor but the side effects were too strong. I was also told that my sugar levels were too high but I attribute that to the cholesterol meds so now I m taking over the counter Cholestoff and multi-betic vitamins. I haven t had my cholesterol level rechecked in about a month but since taking Cholestoff and multi-betic vitamins it appears that my blood sugar levels have gone up. This morning it was up to 138. is it possible that Cholestoff and the multi-betic vitamins are the cause?

Certain studies have linked that patients with high sugar levels were associated with increased triglycerides and reduced hdl cholesterol or good cholesterol.
Control of blood sugar levels caused reduced triglycerides and increased good cholesterol.Kindly control both blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Cholestoff may not cause raised blood sugar levels.
