Burning And Rashes On Shoulder After 360 4 Level Cervical Surgery. On Norco Pain Pills. Is There Any Lotion To Ease Up The Burning?

5 weeks since 360 4 level cervical surgery. Norco pain pills helped me sleep well. Trying to get off Norco due to increased rash issues on forearms and thighs, but severe burning areas on both sides of surgery site continue. I am now on Tylenol 3, and nerve pill Gabapentin, but burning sensation won't go away. Is there a lotion or spray that will ease the affected shoulder burning, or do I go back to Norco?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The burning sensation that you are having is likely to be due to mild nerve fiber irritation. This can be eased by taking methylcobalamin supplements and applying lacto calamine lotion on the area.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
