Bump In Butt Crack That Seems To Have Popped. Further Step?

i had a bump in my butt crack about by my poop shoot, I didn t feel or notice anything until Thursday morning. When I saw it, it was a bum the size of a pea. By night time, I couldn t sit, stand or lay down. On Saturday night I finally got fed up with the lack of sleep I was getting from being in pain, and talked to my sister in law about it. She said she had one before, and to see, first if there was a white head. I went to sleep, certain that I hadn t seen a whitehead the first time I looked but woke up midnight sunday and looked. Sure enough there was a whitehead, and dang it I popped it. It was gross but I felt like it needed to be done. The problem is, I don t think I got everything out. It no longer hurts but what should I do from here

Hello,
Welcome and thanks for posting your query to HealthcareMagic.
As per your query you you have bump in butt crack that seems to have popped.
The further steps to do are :
For the betterment kindly follow the below:
- Do not scratch or even try to touch the area unnecessarily.
- You can do cold water compresses to reduce any discomfort.
- stay away from hot and humid climate.
- Do not wear synthetic clothes which can irritate the affected area.
- Apply any antibacterial cream such as fucidin or mupirocin or gentamicin 2 times a day in a very thin layer so that it should not be visible to naked eye.
If you feel the pain is increasing or it is again becoming larger with some discharge in next 48 hours then you can visit your primary care physician for a course of antibiotics or drainage of the cyst.
You will be alright soon.
I hope these information's will help you. If you have further queries I will be happy to help.
"Wish you good health"
