Brownish Vaginal Discharge, Abdominal Pain. Cyst In Ovary Diagnosed. Treatment?

I am having abdomen pains (especially when standing a while) and have noticed brown discharge for at least 2 days after my period. These pains get sharp at times, such as when I cough. I have just had my second period since having my son in April 2012. I had an ultrasound done in February where a small cyst was possibly identified on my right ovary. Most of my pain seems to come from the left side, however.
