Brown Painful Lump On Foot Near The Heel. What Is This And How To Treat This?

Hi, I have a strange bump on the side of my left foot it is on the side with the pinkie toe and down by the heel. It has been there for a week and it seems to be getting larger. It will hurt when I put a lot of pressure on it, but it isn't too bad. I was wondering if it is some kind of wart. Where my foot touches it it looks almost brown, and then from there it proceeds to stick out a little and it looks like dead skin. I was hoping you could help me treat it. Thank you

Dear friend,

The condition you are describing can be a wart or a corn.

there are two options for its treatment.

either surgical removal by a dermatologist or if not bothering too much you can apply DUOFILM lotion over it under vaseline cover to be applied once daily under occlusion.

But i would recommend you to first visit your dermatologist and to be sure of the diagnosis before you can start the treatment.

Because you need to follow some more instructions depending on whether its a wart or a corn.

But treatment is more or less same for either of the two.
