Brown Discharge, Dark Red Period Blood, Inter Menstrual Bleeding. Am I Pregnant?

My last menstrual cycle started with brown discharge and progressed to dark red period blood . It lasted five days. It was a very unusual cycle due to the fact that my cycles are normally heavy with blood clots.A week after my cycle, I was wiping and the tissue had red blood on it. My underwear had red spots in it. Am I or should I test for pregnancy? If not, what maybe the issue?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Since you had your period on time, pregnancy is not likely. The mild red blood you saw could be due to a mild hormonal imbalance or a vaginal infection. You can wait fro it to subside spontaneously and if it persists, then consult your gynecologist.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
